It’s about time for an update…
I’ve been following this pretty cool webcomic for a while. It’s about a bunch of geeks with ambitions…
It’s called Not Invented Here. Updated frequently… (you might enjoy it more if you start reading from page#1)
Another thing worth sharing is this new game on Kongregate: One and One Story. Found about it two days ago, and instantly fell in love with it! Reminded me a lot of The Company of Myself (which is also one of my favorite games).
Here’s a walkthrough I made to One and One Story. The game has two endings, did you know?
As mentioned in my last post, I have a lot of plans for the summer break, and I’m doing absolutely NONE of them! I’ve got so addicted to games (esp. short flash games that don’t take longer than 2 hours to beat) that I can’t think of anything but games and KONGREGATE all time! Sometimes it feels like I’ve played every single game on Kongregate yet my hunger for flash games is never satisfied (NERD!)
Anyway, on my search for the perfect flash game, I found some pretty interesting games that are almost exactly what I’m looking for: a combination of amazing plots, beautiful art and fairydust ;3
5th Tier: Cursed Treasure / GemCraft Labyrinth
These two amazing games are so similar, but they’re still the best strategy/tower defense games I’ve ever played. I like GemCraft Labyrinth a very little bit more than Cursed Treasure, but it has too many levels and it’s a bit harder too. To be honest, I’ve never finished either of them. I just get bored fast.

GemCraft Labyrinth
4th Tier: Red Moon / Armed with Wings (1, 2, 3)
Four games here, all from the same maker, and all have the same atmosphere. Red Moon being the first in the series, is about Eivana, a red samurai, and her adventure to overthrow the king. Armed with Wings is almost like Red Moon, except with an extra bonus: Wings! Compelling story and intriguing gameplay. My favorite is Armed with Wings 3, still it’s the hardest of all!

3rd Tier: Take a Walk / The Illusionist’s Dream
These two games are very different, yet I find them both amazingly relaxing. Take a Walk is a very simple game about rhythm and walk. beautiful art and music, and it’s like the story of every music lover’s life: You’re feeling down, you put your headphones on and forget about the world! A short game that won’t take you more than 10 minutes to beat it.
The Illusionist’s Dream is also very short (but still, longer than 10 minutes!) It’s a touching story about magic, love and life. The game’s philosophy is touching, the music is so fitting, and the graphics are beautiful. Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did.

The Illusionist’s Dream
2nd Tier: The Company of Myself / K.O.L.M.
The most amazing thing about those two games is the storyline. Very touching, very sad, and makes you think! The Company of Myself is a puzzle game, it’s about someone who’s lost his life partner, and now has to face all life challenges alone. K.O.L.M. is harder to describe… It’s a weird, creepy game, with loneliness and sadness in the air. A robot that’s ready to do anything to please the controlling criticizing Mother, but as he does what he’s told to do, things start to get clearer and hidden messages are revealed. Despite all the sadness and creepiness of the game, it’s a must play!

And finally…
1st Tier: Nevermore 3 / Coma
It was very hard for me to decide between the first and the second tiers for this list, but the mysterious, wonderful worlds of Nevermore 3 and Coma won this time :) I won’t say much about them. You’ll have to play them yourself!
